St. Philip Neri, the Second Apostle of Rome, was a giant of the Catholic Reformation. Among the many prodigies of his life, he was known to have an excpetionally large heart as a result of his prayers to God for greater love. He is the founder of the Congregation of the Oratory, among whom is the soon-to-be-beatified, John Henry Cardinal Newman, founder of the Oratory in England.
