Thirteen of the epistles (nearly half the New Testament) are attributed to Saint Paul. There is no doubt that Paul was one of the most prolific Christian writers in the early Church. He is pictured here with a small paper in his hand, no doubt one of the many letters written back to him from one of the many towns he had visited in his journeys.

I don't think one could argue against the fact that Paul was the most travelled and corresponding man in the Church, probably until a few centuries later, when the great Augustine expanded on Paul's theology.
