brb. I iz goin 2 mass.

Time 2 pray!

What else could he be considering his output was always more than his input? Go to mass and show up late for work? Angel has already taken care of the plowing. Busy chatting up with God? Angel plows three times more to increase productivity. Need to feed a flock of hungry birds, share food with hungry beggars? Food just keeps on multiplying.

A man of humble origins, St. Isidore is the patron saint of farmers and laborers. He is also the patron saint of Madrid, Leon, Saragosa, and Seville, in Spain. [We goofed... see the first comment below –Ed]. He died at sixty years of age on May 15, 1130. To this day, the saint's body is incorruptible.

You can read more about this awesome saint here and here.

St. Isidore the laborer is not St. Isidore the Bishop of Seville.  The former married St. Maria de la Cabeza.

Duly noted - thanks for noticing!

Although Bro AJK correctly pointed out that this is a different St. Isidore, it is also correct that St. Isidore the Laborer is indeed the Patron Saint of all the places in Spain listed above.
And of many more!
